Step 1: Enable the App Embed
- Log in to your Shopify admin and navigate to your theme editor.
- Open the App Embeds settings in the left-hand menu.
- Locate Wishlistify by Byte Apps and toggle the switch to enable the app.
- Save your changes to activate the app on your store.
Step 2: Configure the Theme Preset or Custom Selectors
Option 1: Use a Theme Preset
- Select your Shopify theme from the Theme Preset dropdown.
- This ensures proper element targeting based on your theme’s structure.
Option 2: Use Custom CSS Selectors
- For advanced customization, input custom selectors for elements such as product cards, cart items, or header navigation.
- Leave the field empty to use the default selector from the theme preset.
- Example: To position the wishlist icon in the header, use a selector like
.headericon--cart.
Step 3: Add Wishlist Buttons
- Open the Product Template Editor or Collection Template Editor.
- Locate the area where you want the wishlist button to appear.
- Click Add Block, select Wishlistify, and save your changes.
Step 4: Customize the Wishlist Appearance
- Go to the Wishlistify app settings in your Shopify admin.
- Open the Appearance section to adjust the wishlist button’s style, size, and position.
- Use the range sliders or input fields to fine-tune the layout and design.
