Will the discount badge disappear automatically when a discount expires?

No, it won’t disappear automatically.

ByteTag Discount Text & Label does not have access to the discount expiration date set in Shopify.

The app displays discount badges and labels based only on product tags, not on live discount logic.

If a discount ends, the badge will still appear unless you manually remove the tag from the product or update the app settings accordingly.

✅ To remove expired discount labels, you have two options:

1. Manual Tag Removal:

   Go to each product in Shopify Admin and remove the discount-related tag (e.g., sale, 15-off).

2. Use Shopify Flow (Recommended for automation):

   Set up a Flow to automatically remove the discount tag when a discount expires.

Alternatively, you can also remove or edit the tag directly from within the App Embed settings inside the app.
