Subcollections Are Not Showing on the Collection Page

If your subcollections are not appearing under the main (parent) collection page, don’t worry—this is a common issue and usually quick to fix.

Steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Check Collection Mapping:
    • Go to the “Collection Mapping” section in the app.
    • Make sure you’ve selected the correct parent collection.
    • Confirm that at least one child collection is assigned to it.
    • Click Save Mapping after making changes.
  2. Theme Compatibility:
    • Ensure your theme supports app blocks or sections. Most modern Shopify themes do.
    • If you're using a vintage theme, you may need to manually add the app’s snippet. Instructions are available under the Installation Guide tab in the app.
  3. Check Visibility Settings:
    • Navigate to the Main Block Settings tab.
    • Make sure the block is not accidentally disabled for desktop or mobile views.
    • Ensure subcollection count is set to a number higher than 0.
  4. Clear Cache or Preview in Incognito Mode:
    • Sometimes browser cache can interfere with how updated changes appear.
    • Try viewing your collection page in a private/incognito window.
