If the discount label is not detecting the applied discount code, even though you've correctly entered the code and set up the label, it’s often related to rule configuration or code settings. Follow these steps to ensure everything is working properly:

Ensure Correct Discount Rule Configuration:
The first thing to check is that the label is correctly linked to the right discount type. In the ByteTag dashboard, go to the Label Rules section and make sure the rule is set to Discount Code. If you’ve set the rule for an Automatic Discount, it won’t trigger with a discount code. Double-check that the rule is specific to discount codes and not a global discount.

Exact Match for Discount Code:
It’s crucial to enter the exact discount code name, including the correct case. For example, "SAVE10" and "save10" are treated as two different codes. Ensure the code matches exactly as it is set in your Shopify Discounts section.

Check Cart Page (Not Checkout Page):
Shopify doesn’t allow apps to manipulate the checkout page for security reasons, so labels will not appear or change on the checkout page. Ensure that you’re testing on the Cart Page rather than the checkout page. Check the cart page and confirm that the discount code has been applied before proceeding to the checkout.

Some other discount apps or custom scripts may interfere with the label’s detection process.
